My wooden art blocks are made so that they can be 
displayed on a shelf, on a table, or in many other 
locations in your home or office.

The size of each individual block is 1" x 3", 
with a width a little over 1/2."
I place several layers of high gloss sealer 
over each piece  to protect it and to give it
A "glassy" appearance.   I leave the

sides and back of each block unfinished to 
give a natural feel to the wood.

Can you tell that I live at the beach, 
grew up at the beach, and love all 
things related to the beach?  These 
art blocks combine my original 
artwork and photos of vintage 
objects.

I use this vintage image frequently.  This lovely lady was originally found in an 1800's advertisement.  I have borrowed the image and made some of my own changes to her size and design.  I filled in her binoculars and like to put funky little images inside them.
I love coffee so you will see many art blocks related to 
coffee in my work.
